Easter Monday ride to Windsor
*** Ride now confirmed ***
A easy/moderate ride, about 35 miles to Windsor via Richmond Park. Lunch at Hampton Court Palace and afternoon stop at Runnymede to see the site of the sealing of the Magna Carta and the JFK memorial. Other tea stops as required. Mostly quiet roads and cycle paths, some busier sections in central London. Almost entirely flat, suitable for all bikes with some well surfaced towpath sections. Lots of dropout stations en route if you don't fancy the full distance including Hampton Court at 20 miles and Staines at 30 miles.
Meet atop the Green Bridge in Mile End Park at 10am or outside the Southwark Needle next to London Bridge station at 10:30am.
Expected finish at 5pm. Train back from Windsor, normal cost £9.50 but hopefully £4.75 with group save tickets.

Upcoming rides & events
Our rides are highlighted by "RIDE". You don't have to be a member to join in and we're also always looking for new ride ideas. Contact our Rides Co-ordinator for further information.
There is no need to register beforehand for a ride unless this is specifically stated, most rides are "turn up and go".
Please note that for train assisted rides we often cannot publish times until about 2 weeks beforehand because of the need to check engineering works. Also sometimes our ride leaders do have to change dates/times/routes at reasonably short notice. Generally this website will be up to date and also details will be sent out to our email groups, but if in doubt contact the ride leader or our rides co-ordinator to check arrangements.
