Summer Evening Ride - "We're Going to My Hometown"**
Wheelers' Summer Evening Rides are fun, easy paced, stress busting rides for all skill levels exploring the green spaces of the borough and our neighbouring boroughs with pleasant company and mostly away from traffic.
We're riding west to my hometown, Wapping. Come and hear how time stood still in this area of the east end until I moved away. We will be riding part way along the Regent's canal so you'll need to be confident riding on canal towpaths.
Date: Wednesday 5 August
Time: 6.30pm
Meet: Under the Green Bridge, Mile End Road, outside Costa Coffee. (\\\pardon.rotate.wizard)
I would like to leave at 6.30pm sharp so please try to be on time, call if you're going to be late. The ride is expected to end at about 9pm at The Captain Kidd, Wapping High Street. Do remember to bring your lights and locks.
Call, text or email for more information.

Rides information
Our rides are highlighted by "RIDE". You don't have to be a member to join in and we're also always looking for new ride ideas. Contact our Rides Co-ordinator for further information.
There is no need to register beforehand for a ride unless this is specifically stated, most rides are "turn up and go".
If you haven't ridden with us before please read our Ride Guidance Notes.
Please note that for train assisted rides we often cannot publish times until about 2 weeks beforehand because of the need to check engineering works. Also sometimes our ride leaders do have to change dates/times/routes at reasonably short notice. Generally this website will be up to date and also details will be sent out to our email groups, but if in doubt contact the ride leader or our rides co-ordinator to check arrangements.
