Wheelers' Summer Evening Rides are fun, easy paced, stress busting rides for all skill levels exploring the green spaces of the borough and our neighbouring boroughs with pleasant company and mostly away from traffic.

To take advantage of the longer daylight we're heading south to what is locally called Thamesmead Tor. It's neither Thamesmead nor a Tor but is a man made mound in Woolwich called Gallions Reach with spectacular views over London, I call it The Top of The World. I'll also have one or two stories to tell. We'll cross the river on the Woolwich Ferry then, return via the Greenwich Foot Tunnel.

(If the lifts are out at the foot tunnel then we can cross the river using the DLR)

Meet: Under the Green Bridge, Mile End, outside Costa Coffee (///pardon.rotate.wizard)

We really need to leave at 6.30pm sharp because it's a longer ride so please try to be on time. If you're going to be late then please call (don't WhatsApp or text). The ride is expected to finish at 9.30pm at a local pub. Do remember to bring your lights, lock and passport.
