Afterworker Ride - The Olympic Park
As the year of living dangerously is coming to an end it's time to resume our social rides and get back to some sort of normality.
Afterwork Rides are easy paced, stress busting rides for all skill levels exploring the green spaces of the borough and our neighbouring boroughs with pleasant company.
Our first ride is to the Olympic Park. We'll be exploring the lesser known corners of the park and looking at its ever changing landscape with some storytelling thrown in. It's mostly away from traffic but there will be some road riding.
Date: Wednesday 26 May
Time: 6.30pm
Meet: Outside the Pavilion Cafe, Victoria Park
I would like to leave at 6.30pm sharp so please try to be on time. The ride is expected to end at about 8.30pm at a local pub. Do remember to bring your lights and locks
COVID Security - COVID is still with us. If you have any symptoms of the virus then please stay at home. Please wear a face mask at the assembly point, naturally they can be removed when the ride starts. Officially we can only ride in a group of six but because most of the time we'll be spread out this should not be a problem.

Rides information
Our rides are highlighted by "RIDE". You don't have to be a member to join in and we're also always looking for new ride ideas. Contact our Rides Co-ordinator for further information.
There is no need to register beforehand for a ride unless this is specifically stated, most rides are "turn up and go".
If you haven't ridden with us before please read our Ride Guidance Notes.
Please note that for train assisted rides we often cannot publish times until about 2 weeks beforehand because of the need to check engineering works. Also sometimes our ride leaders do have to change dates/times/routes at reasonably short notice. Generally this website will be up to date and also details will be sent out to our email groups, but if in doubt contact the ride leader or our rides co-ordinator to check arrangements.
