RideLondon FreeCycle
Marshalled feeder ride to the 8 mile, motor traffic-free RideLondon FreeCycle route around central London [route map]. FreeCycle is for all the family on a circuit that starts from the eastern end at Leadenhall Street, up to Buckingham Palace and back again. It’s a great opportunity to get on your bike and see the sights of London on closed roads, why not organise a picnic in St James' or Green Park or Lincoln's Inn Fields?
Wheelers are organising a feeder ride from Mile End at 10am to Leadenhall Market and back again later in the day at 4pm. If you would like to join this convoy of bikes which will be marshaled by experienced riders and be an easy pace then we shall be leaving at 10 am from UNDER the Green Bridge (the same side as the cycle hire stations), Mile End Park on the corner of Mile End Road and Burdett Road. Children are welcomed but under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
Meet us UNDER the Green Bridge at 10am and we'll be entering the route from Fenchurch Street. The return ride leaves Leadenhall Market at 4pm. The feeder ride route will be through quiet roads of Stepney Green, the Cable Street super highway and then on a quiet route to Fenchurch Street.
Before leaving home please check that your bike is in a roadworthy condition, if you have any problems we could help you before the ride starts. Please call me if you're going to be late or if you have any questions.

Rides information
Our rides are highlighted by "RIDE". You don't have to be a member to join in and we're also always looking for new ride ideas. Contact our Rides Co-ordinator for further information.
There is no need to register beforehand for a ride unless this is specifically stated, most rides are "turn up and go".
If you haven't ridden with us before please read our Ride Guidance Notes.
Please note that for train assisted rides we often cannot publish times until about 2 weeks beforehand because of the need to check engineering works. Also sometimes our ride leaders do have to change dates/times/routes at reasonably short notice. Generally this website will be up to date and also details will be sent out to our email groups, but if in doubt contact the ride leader or our rides co-ordinator to check arrangements.
