Open Garden Squares
Full day outing to various gardens and green spaces for popular OGS weekend.
Advance tickets are £7.50 for entry to all gardens for weekend or £10 on the day (see Open Garden Squares website). Quiet roads and traffic free sections where possible. 20-25 miles or so, but possible to drop out earlier. Please note that there will be a lot of "non-riding" during this day so please only come along if you are happy to spend more time looking at gardens than pedalling!
Cream tea stops; packed lunch advisable.
If you want to go to other gardens on Saturday and want to make sure you don't visit any twice, then please contact the ride leader Gerry in advance (07787 385971 or gerry@wheelers.org.uk) and she can tell you what is planned for Sunday, otherwise turn up for a surprise route!

Our rides are highlighted by "RIDE". You don't have to be a member to join in and we're also always looking for new ride ideas. Contact our Rides Co-ordinator for further information.
There is no need to register beforehand for a ride unless this is specifically stated, most rides are "turn up and go".
If you haven't ridden with us before please read our Ride Guidance Notes.
Please note that for train assisted rides we often cannot publish times until about 2 weeks beforehand because of the need to check engineering works. Also sometimes our ride leaders do have to change dates/times/routes at reasonably short notice. Generally this website will be up to date and also details will be sent out to our email groups, but if in doubt contact the ride leader or our rides co-ordinator to check arrangements.
