The borough is currently consulting on ambitious low-traffic neighbourhood proposals for Bow. It's really heartening to see such good plans being put forward, which prioritise walking, cycling, public transport and community above private car use. However there has already been some vocal opposition to the scheme, and it won’t go ahead unless supporters also make their voices clearly heard.

There is a current TfL consultation about improvements at Bow roundabout, principally for pedestrians but also affecting cyclists. See consultations.tfl.gov.uk/roads/bow-vision.

Transport for London are currently consulting on major improvements to Cycle Superhighway Route 2 (CS2) between Aldgate and Bow roundabout. These proposals feature segregated cycle tracks and junctions redesigned to separate cyclists from motor vehicles and will need your support if they are to go ahead.

Take action to tell Transport for London that you want to make CS2 safer and more inviting so that everybody feels able to cycle.
