3. Better Streets Update
Friends of the Earth Presentation – FoE are working on a similar campaign themselves regarding pedestrianisation of streets. Asked to get formal support from FoE in order to include in campaign material. Awaiting response.
Bow Labour Meeting – Overall positive meeting, met with Cllr John Pierce who seemed positive about the campaign.
No information yet on whether the council is putting together a bid for Liveable Neighbourhoods funding. Alex and Owen meeting with Council officers in next few weeks.
Next Steps – Need to set up a website and email account, and then get business cards printed. Support for funds for this granted in principle from the Wheelers account.
4. Healthy Streets Meeting
Possible healthy streets meeting at the end of the month. David said that the company running it had previously let in volunteer group people for free. Would be good to get two people on it, one representing THW and the other BSfTH.
Action – David to email out the link for the event.
5. Festive Meal
Richard proposed having a Christmas meal at the veterans club as a potential fundraising event and mainly because it would be nice. Idea for people to bring in own dishes and bring own booze with a quiz. Date of Saturday 25th of November set.
Actions – Richard to set up a working group of people to help organise. Rob to make a registration form.
6. Upcoming council officers meeting
Number of points to discuss with officers. Primary interest is whether the council will be applying for liveable neighbourhood funding in this round. Next round of bids falls around 2018 election campaign time so better to get a bid in now.
Action – Alex and Owen to feedback from council meeting.
7. Events
Glamour Ride – 20 people attended finishing at Kings Cross.
Thamesmead Ride – Very good day out. A walking tour to be planned soon.

Action – Owen/Rob to embed video in THW website when becomes available.
