1. Better Streets for Tower Hamlets

Alex, Christy and Julie presented on health issues, schemes that can improve streets and cycle storage issues.

Discussion then chaired by Hermione with brief notes below.

Cllr Rachel Blake
- Great 2014 locql elections campaign and hopes will do the same for 2018
- Committed £1 million to cycle infrastructure via S106
- Borough is constricted by A roads - Will need to work together as TfL often concerned with pushing more on to their A roads
Presentation was "inspiring"

Jane
- Air pollution an issue
- Cycle storage on her Tower Hamlets Homes estate has been excellent

Terry
- Before-After photos very powerful

Heike
- Need people who wouldn't normally cycle to buy-in to cycling

Alex 
- Need schemes that will "enable" cycling

Rob
- Talk with neighbouring boroughs about successes, to market such schemes

Andrew Wood
- 5 Neighbourhood Planning Forums in the borough: Get in contact with them and work together.

John Biggs
- Always been a fan of Wheelers


2. Annual General Meeting

2a. Finance Report

End of Year accounts and budget have been submitted to LCC.  We've again declined our borough group grant from LCC.

Current balance is approx. £1400.  If our budget remains the same over the next year or so and no additional funding/income is raised, we will run out of money around the 3rd quarter of 2018.

The following members put themselves forward for the management committee officer roles and each were unanimously voted in.

Joint Co-ordinators: Alex Jenkins and Julie Plichon
Secretary: Christy Troy
Treasurer: Owen Pearson

Helen stepped down as Communications Officer.  The following members put themselves forward for the management committee member roles and each were unanimously voted in.
