White Cliffs Ride
*** Rider pre-registration here (optional) ***
A 65mile ride over the famous White Cliffs of Dover to Canterbury. Expect fantastic views across the channel and visits to the historic Kent towns of Sandwich, Deal and Canterbury.
Rated hard not for the pace but because of the distance and two steep hills onto the Cliffs at Folkestone and Dover. Suitable for all bikes, mostly on country lanes and cycle routes. Some busier roads around Folkestone and Dover.
Meet at 8.45 at St Pancras, outside the national rail ticket office, for a 9am train to Ashford international. Return ticket £32 (£16 with a group ticket). Please wait for ride leader before purchasing tickets.
If you are intending to come on this ride, please take a moment to register here. This is completely optional and non binding. You are still more than welcome to just turn up on the day at the station.

Rides information
Our rides are highlighted by "RIDE". You don't have to be a member to join in and we're also always looking for new ride ideas. Contact our Rides Co-ordinator for further information.
There is no need to register beforehand for a ride unless this is specifically stated, most rides are "turn up and go".
If you haven't ridden with us before please read our Ride Guidance Notes.
Please note that for train assisted rides we often cannot publish times until about 2 weeks beforehand because of the need to check engineering works. Also sometimes our ride leaders do have to change dates/times/routes at reasonably short notice. Generally this website will be up to date and also details will be sent out to our email groups, but if in doubt contact the ride leader or our rides co-ordinator to check arrangements.
